Zazu: from moodboard to mark
A logo for Zazu Tattoo & Piercing, a studio founded in 2024. The idea started on a moodboard, grew in a sketchbook and ended as one mark for a badge, a sticker and a price list.

- Badge and print
1. Moodboard
Tattoo flash, lettering, studio interiors and old badges in one place, next to the keywords we agreed on: tattoo, piercing, freedom, independence, legacy, precision, surgical and a safe space for everyone.

2. Pencil and a dotted notebook
Dozens of Zs, until one read as a single brushstroke with a tail.

3. Inking
The best sketch, drawn again bigger and inked, to find the weight of the line.

4. From paper to vector
The mark redrawn as vector, tested in sizes and weights, then given a deep green palette.

5. Badge and print
A round badge with the name and the year, and a price list in the same language.

One mark, a badge, a palette and a price list, all from the same stroke.
