Planner: a travel app in light and dark
Planner is a progressive web app that plans a route from one point to another and shows which is faster, public transport or the car, with the fuel cost added. It was my colleague's bachelor's thesis. I designed the screens, the light and dark skins and the logo. The product idea and the development were his.

The brief
A colleague was writing his bachelor's thesis on a progressive web application and asked me for sketches of its screens, in a light mode and a dark mode. The app plans a route from one point to another and shows which is faster, public transport or the car, with the fuel cost added.
My part
I designed the interface and the skins. I did not do the development or the product design: the idea, the logic and the code were my colleague's.
Light and dark
The first image shows the light screens, including the car route on a map. Below are the dark ones: the same layout, with an adjusted colour scheme. The interface is in Slovak.

Search. From and to, a button to swap them, and two actions: leave now, or compare.
Found connections. Each trip shows its walking, bus and train legs, with times and the total duration.
Connection detail. Every stop with its time, and the current delay on the line.
Profile. Sign in or register to use all the features.
The mark
The logo is a map pin with a P in it, drawn in Adobe Illustrator. The sheet shows the pin as outlines, built from circles, and set with the wordmark in several layouts.
